One is based on gelatin, bovine, fish skin or other raw material from animal; another one is based on totally vegetable raw material such as starch/ carrageenan. Necessity of Veggie& Gelatin Encapsulation Machine
We use make of raw material property such as viscosity, flexibility and stickiness, under the condition of heating and cooling, ribbon peeling and etc., try to hold medicine material inside gelatin-ribbon-made space. by this way, we make a soft gel capsule. It's a very hard dosage to make considering the ratio among water, raw material and glycerin. during encapsulation, room temperature, humidity and machine temperature, speed both matter greatly. Besides good machine, good and professional operators are also required for such job. So a machine supplier with thorough training is very important. after soft gel capsule get formed and drop off from machine, it goes into tumble dryer which is the next step shaping& cooling.
