Application
1.Water treatment:
Ferrous sulfate is used for flocculating and purifying water, and removing phosphate from urban and industrial sewage to prevent eutrophication of water bodies.
2.Soil Improvement,Good Fertilizer:
Agricultural grade ferrous sulfate is used to adjust the pH of the soil.Can make the soil alkaline smaller,can be added to the
Plant;Also be used as fertilizer, is a catalyst for the manufacture green pigment of plants, there is an important role for plant uptake.
3.Paper Industry:
It helps in sizing of paper at neutral and alkaline pH, thus improving paper quality (reducing spots and holes and improving sheet formation and strength) and sizing efficiency.
3.Colorant
Ferrous sulfate was used as a material of inks,most notably iron gall ink.It also finds use in wool dyeing as a mordant.
4.Other Uses:
