516 General-purpose Acid Silicone Sealant

- for general use calking and sealing

516 is a one-component, acidic curing silicone sealant. It cures by absorbing atmospheric moisture to form a flexible and durable elastomeric sealant, widely used in construction & home decoration for joint adhesion and sealing.

Main Applications:

-Ordinary glass assembly, joint filling between glass, doors and windows, glass and metal;

-Bonding and sealing of variousSigns, display cabinets, etc...

Features:

1. Fast curing speed, durable seal;

2. Good adhesion and compatibility to most building materials;

3. Excellent weather ability and high resistance to UV radiation, heat, humidity, ozone, and high temperature.

4. the formed silicone rubber maintains excellent properties in the temperature range of -50℃to +100℃.

Use Limitations:

1. All the surfaces that bleed oils, plasticizers, or solvents.

2. Non-corrosion resistant substrates such as concrete, porous stones (like marble), coated glass, copper, lead, and galvanized materials;

3. the mucilage shall not be completely isolated from the air before fully curing;

4. the frosty or moist surface;

5. Cannot be used for structural bonding.

Storage Period:
