Interlocking drill pipe is typically used in solid hard rock formations.It adopts six ribs and has multiple sets of drive keys welded on the surface.the internal keyboard is also made from specially heat-treated high-strength steel.
Materials and Technology
Pipe 1-2 material: 27SiMn or 35CrMo after quenching and tempering heat treatment.
Pipe 3-5 material: Q345B, quenching and tempering heat treatment.
Kelly rod drive short shaft material: HRC305-335 solid forging, tensile strength 1050 MPa.
External pressure key: 35CrMoTi.
Kelly spring material: 60Si2Mn.
