Summary:
Wood's lamp is also called all lights or filtering ultraviolet lamp. It uses the wave ultraviolet absorption melanin, through the principle of containing nickel hydrogen filter piece of a 320— 400 nm long wave ultraviolet ray, garnish with long wave ultraviolet ray trouble place. If black element is strong, reduce refractive index shows light color; and if black element is weak, refractive index increased show dark.

2, tinea versicolor: the disease under wood fluorescent lamp shows tan, theoretically, chaff spore fungus follicle inflammation also shows tan. But acne propionic acid bacteria cause inflammation of the hair follicles shows palm red or orange. It helps to distinguish between the two kinds of hair follicles inflammation.

5, acne: it shows palm red or orange fluorescence under the wood lamp.
6, some pigment les ions
1) chloasma: it is a common disease among middle-aged women. At present, it is very difficult to treat. Its causes have primary and secondary. It is divided into four types: superficial type, leather type, mixed and indefinite type.
2) other pigment disease, such as senile plaque, coffee spot, nerve fibroma, freckles, etc. Shading dry skin disease and senile plaque are more obvious under the wood lamp.
